Bored Piling

Carillion Piling constructs rotary bored piles in diameter from 450mm to 4000mm. Our rigs have the capacity to install piles to a depth of 70m and deeper. Rotary bored piles are very versatile in the range of loads they can support and the ground conditions in which they can be used.

We have experience of the following rotary piling techniques:

  • Single length and telescope temporary casing
  • Segmental temporary casing
  • Bentonite, polymer or water support fluids
  • Work on land and water

Rotary piles are often used where large loads are to be supported, such as heavy civils and industrial structures. In addition, the rotary piling technique can be used to facilitate the installation of soakaway shafts especially where permanent liners are needed.
